En 2013, cuando llegamos a Miami, buscábamos un restaurante tradicional venezolano para disfrutar de una comida que nos resultara familiar. Pero solo encontramos restaurantes latinos genéricos; no había ninguno que realmente lograra reunir los sabores auténticos de cada región de Venezuela.

Fue entonces cuando pensamos en todos los demás venezolanos que probablemente se sentían igual. Así que reunimos las mejores recetas de todo el país —como la exquisita cachapa, la famosa arepa con sus múltiples variaciones regionales, el pabellón criollo, las empanadas, los tequeños y muchos otros platos tradicionales de todos los rincones de Venezuela— y así nació Sabor Venezolano.

Desde que abrimos nuestras puertas, durante los últimos 11 años, Sabor Venezolano ha estado reavivando el amor por la cocina venezolana, ayudando a muchos a reconectar con los sabores de su tierra natal y a sentirse como en casa.

In 2013, when we arrived in Miami, we were looking for a traditional Venezuelan restaurant to enjoy a familiar meal. But all we found were general Latin restaurants—there wasn’t one that truly brought together the authentic flavors from each region of Venezuela.

That’s when we thought about all the other Venezuelans who probably felt the same way. So, we gathered the best recipes from across the country—like the exquisite cachapa, the famous arepa with its many regional variations, pabellón criollo, empanadas, tequeños, and many more traditional dishes from all corners of Venezuela—and Sabor Venezolano was born.

Since opening our doors, for the past 11 years, Sabor Venezolano has been reigniting the love for Venezuelan cuisine, helping many reconnect with the flavors of their homeland and feel right at home.
